The Por Larrañaga Sobresalientes is a produced for the UK market in 2014, and it has now achieved almost legendary status amongst knowledgeable collectors.  The vitola used - also known as Sobresalientes in the factories of Cuba - is an imposing 6 inches by 53-ring gauge, allowing for around 80 minutes of smoking time.

As the oldest Cuban brand still in production,  holds a special place in aficionados' hearts.  The light-flavoured blend finds a different expression through large vitolas such as the one used here, which always proves popular with smokers.  The 5,000 boxes of Sobresalientes, which were released, proved immediately popular with UK smokers, making them a rare find in today's market.
